"Esbart Comtal" was founded in 12th November 1964. Step by step "Esbart Comtal" had been growing, and in April of 1965 had their first performance. Since then, they have had too many performances.
They have organized the XV Stickers National Meeting of Catalonia, and they have participated in every Stickers National Meeting of Catalonia. Their participation in Merce's Festival are a tradition in their entity.
In May of 1998 they had have a performance supporting Dalai Lama. In 1999 thay have participated in a solidarity performance with Kosovo.
