INFORMATION FOR INVITED GROUPS
FESTIVAL REGULATIONS
FIll in the Festival app¡lication form for groups and send it off. Applications must be sent as early as possible and before 31st January of the Festival year.
Once the groups have been selected the organising committee will notify the selected groups with at least 4 months notice prior to the festival. Groups must wait for notification of acceptance before organising any travel arrangements.
All groups accepted must commit themselves to a reciprocal visit to their country, in similar conditions, to coincide with international festivals or other events which might be suitable.
Invited groups must not exceed 30 members.
Invited groups will meet their own travel costs both to and from Barcelona.
Invited groups will not receive any payment for their participation in the festival.
The festival organisers will pay for all accomodation and meals during the festival.
Each invited group will receive a souvenir of the festival.
PERFORMANCES
Participating groups must bring performances of different lengths: 20 minutes. 30 minutes. 60 minutes. During the festival the invited groups will perform on stage and also in the street. Other performances may also be carried out in other towns in Catalunya.
STAGE
The stage measures 10 X 9m with additional space for musicians. It is located in "Plaça del Sortidor" - a square in the neighbourhood of Poble-sec in the city of Barcelona.
ACCOMODATION
Invited groups will stay in hostels in Barcelona city. Arrival day 15 July. Departure day 21 July before 12:00am. Consulting linck Melon District.
